The article showing the way of dimensioning in 3D designer.
In designer's window, the dimensions of any element can be checked. In the example we will check a diagonal of a mounting plate.
To activate the function click on Dimensioning button.
Next, choose the points which the distance beetwen you would like to know. The program shows the available points after moving the cursor over an edge.
After choosing the second point you will see the dimensions of the element. The program shows automatically the dimensions parallel to the coordinate system and the distance between selected points.
